Liquid silicone rubber (LSR) molding heat cures a two-component compound together with a catalyst to produce parts. The process is similar to injection-molding but the material delivery is cooled and the mold is heated.Parts are strong and resistant to temperature, chemical and electricity. Silicone parts are also biocompatible, so can be used for medical and cosmetic applications.
HLH have been working with silicone for years and are able to realize low volume prototypes via a POM tool or low-to-mass production quantities via aluminum or steel tools. For more information contact us here.
