Injection Molding Tips – Part 3

November 2, 2018

Injection molding is not just for high-volume production. It can also be a great speed to market tool via rapid injection mold tool building for low-volume production. Many injection molding tools can take several weeks or longer to complete depending on the size and complexity of the tool. Rapid injection molding tools can deliver you a tool in the fraction of the time with a significant cost reduction with the trade off being a mold that has a reduced life.

The constant is, designing for both full production a low-volume tools follow the same rules. Here is another quick design tip for you, check it out.
